Specialty Content
Reviews, library chapters, editions, events, media, glossary, quotes, games, and bookshelf.
Reviews (books, films, podcasts, documentaries)
Reviews are a dedicated content type in Project Broadsheet, with structured metadata, star ratings, and a filterable index. This page explains how to create and configure them.
Library
Project Broadsheet's public-domain library. Host full-length works organized by chapter, with reader progress tracking, annotations, a floating table of contents, and chapter-by-chapter navigation.
Editions
Group a set of articles into a numbered issue, give it a cover, a publish date, and a printable layout. Ideal for newsletters, magazines, and anything that ships on a regular schedule.
Events calendar
Publish upcoming events, readings, interviews, and meetups on a dedicated calendar page. Recurrence and timezone-aware dates are handled automatically.
Media: photos, video, music
Project Broadsheet includes structured content types for photo galleries, embedded video, and music playlists. Each has a dedicated template and data model.
Glossary
An A-to-Z reference of terms with hover tooltips that appear anywhere across your publication. Readers never need to leave an article to look up a definition.
Quotes
A curated collection of quotations displayed on a dedicated /quotes/ page and pulled into articles with the pullquote shortcode.
Games
Interactive games that live alongside editorial content. Two built-in types ship with Project Broadsheet. Each game is a Markdown file that points at an optional JSON data source.
Bookshelf
A curated reading list at /bookshelf/, one Markdown file per book, grouped by category and filterable by tag.
